Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Product Specialist to manage and support our cooling product portfolio. This role combines product management, technical expertise, and cross-functional coordination, acting as a key interface between customers, internal teams, and global partners.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in automotive cooling and refrigeration systems, along with the ability to support both technical and commercial activities.

Key Responsibilities

Product Portfolio Management

• Manage the locally sold Webasto cooling product portfolio, including marine cooling products and products dedicated for the Japanese market
• Work closely with Webasto subsidiaries and regional manufacturing partners to ensure alignment of product availability, specifications, and lifecycle activities

Technical & Application Support

• Provide customer-facing application and technical support for cooling products
• Collaborate with the Technical Support team to resolve technical issues and ensure optimal product performance

Quality Coordination

• Coordinate quality-related topics, including issue tracking, internal alignment, and reporting
• Investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes for field and 0km issues

Internal Support & Documentation

• Support the Technical Support team with documentation, training materials, and product-related information
• Contribute to technical knowledge sharing and internal capability development

Sales Support

• Provide technical clarification and support for sales activities related to cooling products
• Assist in customer communication, ensuring clear understanding of product capabilities and application requirements

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive cooling and air conditioning systems, with a strong understanding of product functionality and applications
• Application experience in refrigeration systems, ideally including certification for refrigerant handling
• Background in product management, product engineering, or lifecycle management, with knowledge of relevant processes
• Experience in product quality management, including:
• Field issue handling
• Corrective action coordination
• Continuous improvement initiatives
• Experience in marine or specialized cooling applications (good to have)

• Strong technical communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to both customers and internal stakeholders
• Proven ability to work effectively across functions including engineering, quality, sales, purchasing, and supply chain
