You can look forward to these exciting tasks:
- Leading and continuously enhancing the company-wide climate strategy and ESRS E1 framework, including governance, targets, transition planning, and GHG emissions accounting across Scope 1, 2, and 3
- Driving the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the company’s decarbonization roadmap and climate targets, ensuring alignment with ESRS E1 requirements and collaborating closely with global sites and cross-functional stakeholders
- Owning all climate-related ESG reporting, disclosures, and ratings, including CSRD ESRS E1, CDP Climate, and other relevant frameworks, ensuring high-quality, audit-ready data, robust processes, and reliable information for internal and external stakeholders
- Leading climate-related risk, opportunity, resilience, and scenario analyses in line with ESRS E1 requirements, supporting strategic decision-making, business transformation, and climate adaptation planning
- Acting as the company’s subject matter expert and trusted advisor on climate topics, advising management, business functions/units, global sites, and customers on decarbonization, climate disclosures, and evolving regulatory requirements
This is what you bring to us:
- University degree in Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Several years of professional experience in Sustainability, Climate & Decarbonization Management, Carbon Accounting, or a similar role; corporate environment or consultancy experience is desirable
- Strong expertise in GHG accounting (Scope 1, 2 & 3) according to the GHG Protocol, including decarbonization pathways and SBTi alignment
- Experience with ESG data management, sustainability reporting, and related software solutions; knowledge of Sphera and frameworks such as ESRS E1, CDP, or EU Taxonomy is an advantage
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, combined with a structured, analytical, team-oriented and cross-functional working style
- Fluent in English and German (written and spoken) is a must; experience in the manufacturing and/or automotive industry is a strong advantage
