- Building and maintaining sustainable relationships with all key departments of the customers, especially purchasing
- Customer Intelligence: Identifying product strategies as well as competitor activities and strategies at the customer
- Acquisition of new (global) projects in accordance with the product and customer strategy (MUST-WIN landscape), including preparation of cost breakdowns, contract negotiations, etc.
- Continuous customer support as well as negotiation of change packages throughout all phases of the product development process (PEP)
- Ensuring the achievement of EBIT and cash flow targets, including preparation and execution of negotiations for multi-year price agreements
This is what you bring to us:
- Completed studies in the field of industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or comparable
- Professional experience in the automotive industry in the areas of sales, business development, project management, or purchasing
- Very good commercial understanding, pronounced cost awareness, and very good technical basic understanding
- Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict management skills
- Very good MS Office skills, business fluent English skills, pronounced flexibility, and willingness to travel
