You can look forward to these exciting tasks:
- Developing competitive SCM concepts and cost calculation for project acquisitions. Analysis, design, and coordination of logistics requirements with internal and external process partners
- Planning, coordination, and implementation of operational logistics processes for battery projects in Webasto plants (inbound, outbound, packaging, material flow/provision, warehousing including potential sequencing processes)
- Independent negotiation with suppliers and service providers in collaboration with procurement to acquire necessary logistics resources and services
- Analysis of battery-specific requirements for SCM processes (e.g., hazardous materials, storage requirements, emergencies, technical cleanliness, recycling). Designing corresponding processes and standards, coordination within the global Webasto organization, and ensuring implementation
- Initial experience with packaging planning in the automotive sector
This is what you bring to us:
- Successfully completed business or technical studies, ideally with a focus on Supply Chain Management or Logistics
- Several years of practical professional experience in Supply Chain Management, ideally in planning functions and in manufacturing plants within the automotive industry. SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Excellent English skills and experience working with global teams, ideally in cultural regions such as Europe, North America, China, Korea, and Japan
- Holistic and process-oriented thinking and independent working style. Strong quality and cost awareness
- High commitment, flexibility, and team spirit. Willingness to travel (project-dependent, up to 20%)
