• Assumption of cost and price monitoring within the scope of series changes within assigned product groups as well as administrative handling of series-related changes
• Management in material shortage situations to avoid internal and external production stoppages, including root cause analysis, negotiations with the supplier, short-term definition and monitoring of measures
• Support in relocations: Creation of a project schedule, supervision of equipment relocation from the old supplier, and support for the new supplier during the commissioning of the relocated scope, management of all internal processes for the implementation of the relocation, effort/cost estimation
• Participation in process optimizations and optimization of function-specific workflows
• Assumption of administrative tasks within the area of responsibility of series purchasing

This is what you bring to us: 

• Completed technical or business administration studies
• Several years of professional experience in the purchasing environment, ideally in the automotive or manufacturing industry
• Analytical and entrepreneurial actions and thinking
• Strong communication skills and resilience as well as confident demeanor
• Very good English skills and willingness to travel
