You can look forward to these exciting tasks:
- Assuming responsibility for performing measurement tasks using 3D coordinate measuring machines, standard and special measuring equipment and serving as the main contact at the plant for all measurement-related tasks
- Creating and maintaining programs for CNC-controlled 3D coordinate measuring machine
- Performing measurements on individual parts, components, and complete battery systems during sampling and series-accompanying inspections
- Creating measurement reports according to defined standards and evaluating measurement results using statistical method
This is what you bring to us:
- Successfully completed vocational training in a metalworking profession; an additional qualification as a state-certified technician in mechanical engineering is desirable
- Experience in handling measuring machines and other testing equipment
- Knowledge in programming 3D coordinate measuring machines, ideally with PC-DMIS measuring software
- Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings and solid knowledge of generally applicable standards
- Proficient in MS Office applications and good command of English
- Responsible and team-oriented working style as well as willingness to work in shift
