You can look forward to these exciting tasks:
- Supervision and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment for high-voltage battery systems to ensure and enhance cost efficiency, quality and ergonomics
- Daily shop floor management and execution of improvement workshops in line with the Kaizen philosophy
- Creation of documentation for production, planning and project development (process flow diagrams, P-FMEA, manufacturability assessments, work instructions, process parameter lists, defect collection cards, equipment inspections, maintenance documents and risk and hazard assessments)
- Planning and implementation of measures for manufacturing processes and equipment as part of industrialization, change management, or optimization efforts
- Interdisciplinary teamwork within a core project team including representatives from project management, production, quality, logistics, development, and controlling
- Participation in acquisition processes, calculation of production times and investments for equipment and manufacturing processes for high-voltage battery systems
This is what you bring to us:
- Successfully completed university degree (preferably in mechanical engineering) and several years of professional experience in the field of manufacturing engineering within the automotive or supplier industry and familiarity with automotive industry processes
- Strong assertiveness and decision-making ability as well as team spirit, independence, commitment and flexibility
- Goal-oriented, structured and method-based working style
- Excellent German skills and good English skills, both written and spoken (communication skills – presentation, moderation)
- Basic knowledge of MTM or REFA
