ME Technician Process Technologies - Welding MIG/MAG/WIG (f/m/x)

Our Business Area Electrification (EE) develops and produces battery systems as well as electric and fuel-powered thermal solutions. Additionally, the business unit includes our aftermarket division, Customized & Lifecycle Solutions (EC), offering products and solutions for nearly all types of on-/off-highway and shore vehicles, with a strong focus on thermal and energy management solutions.

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

  • Supervision of welding processes (robotic welding cells and manual welding) in production ensuring compliance with cost, quality and schedule targets as well as coordination with welding technology suppliers
  • Supporting the production in process optimization
  • Supporting Manufacturing Engineering (ME) in the planning, procurement and supervision of automated and semi-automated welding processes
  • Optimal design of welded joints in collaboration with product development as well as regular inspection of welding quality
  • Creation of documentation for production, planning and project planning and support in the preparation of risk assessments for machines and systems
  • Participation in daily shop floor management
  • Involvement in improvement workshops according to the Kaizen philosophy and participation in the training of new employees

 

This is what you bring to us:

  • Completed vocational training in metalworking (e.g. industrial mechanic or tool mechanic) or an equivalent qualification
  • Relevant professional experience in common welding technologies, ideally with certification (especially aluminum welding)
  • Independent, goal-oriented, and systematic working style
  • Team-oriented approach of working
  • Strong communication skills (presentation, moderation) and computer literacy
