ME Expert Process Technologies Robotics (f/m/x)

Our Business Area Electrification (EE) develops and produces battery systems as well as electric and fuel-powered thermal solutions. Additionally, the business unit includes our aftermarket division, Customized & Lifecycle Solutions (EC), offering products and solutions for nearly all types of on-/off-highway and shore vehicles, with a strong focus on thermal and energy management solutions.

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

  • Independent programming of robots from various manufacturers (e.g., KUKA) as well as optimization of existing programs
  • Identification and implementation of improvement opportunities in robot-based manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
  • Planning, design, procurement, and support of robot-based manufacturing stations for battery production, ensuring compliance with cost, quality, and schedule requirements according to the Product Development Process (PEP)
  • Point of contact for Manufacturing Engineering (ME), R&D and project teams for the design of robotic cells with deep process understanding
  • Interdisciplinary teamwork and shopfloor management within a core project team consisting of representatives from project management, development, quality, logistics, production and controlling to ensure that the project goals of new projects or the production KPIs of series projects are achieved

 

This is what you bring to us:

  • Completed engineering degree or equivalent qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in the design, programming, and optimization of robot programs in manufacturing stations in conjunction with other processes (e.g., screwing, dispensing, etc.), preferably in the automotive sector for highly automated production lines
  • Analytical, structured, organized and independent working style
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex topics in a simple and audience-appropriate manner
  • Team player with assertiveness and decision-making ability, as well as good German and English skills, both written and spoken
