You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

  • Planning, procurement, and support of automated bonding processes and applications for battery production, ensuring compliance with cost, quality and schedule requirements according to the Product Development Process (PEP)
  • Identification and implementation of improvement opportunities related to bonding processes and applications to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
  • Development, validation, and optimization of bonding methods and processes for various materials and applications in both future and existing battery systems
  • Conducting material analyses and adhesive testing to evaluate adhesive performance and ensure that requirements are met
  • Interdisciplinary teamwork and shopfloor management within a core project team consisting of representatives from project management, development, quality, logistics, production and controlling to ensure that the project goals of new projects or the production KPIs of series projects are achieved

 

This is what you bring to us:

  • Completed engineering degree (e.g., with a focus on adhesive technology and mechanical joining)
  • Alternatively, completed vocational training in a technical field as well as professional advanced training to become a master craftsman/technician and several years of professional experience in the supervision of adhesive processes
  • Completed advanced training as an adhesive engineer (European Adhesive Engineer - EAE), adhesive specialist (EAS), or adhesive technologist (ABT) or equivalent qualification, or willingness to acquire this qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in the production sector, preferably in the automotive field for highly automated production lines with experience in the implementation, optimization, and supervision of adhesive processes and applications
  • In-depth knowledge of adhesive technology, materials, and processes as well as experience working with various adhesive materials and applications is desirable
  • Experience in conducting material and adhesive tests as well as knowledge of relevant testing methods is advantageous
  • Knowledge in the field of quality management and experience in compliance with industry standards and regulations are advantageous
