You can look forward to these exciting tasks:
- Planning, procurement, and support of automated bonding processes and applications for battery production, ensuring compliance with cost, quality and schedule requirements according to the Product Development Process (PEP)
- Identification and implementation of improvement opportunities related to bonding processes and applications to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
- Development, validation, and optimization of bonding methods and processes for various materials and applications in both future and existing battery systems
- Conducting material analyses and adhesive testing to evaluate adhesive performance and ensure that requirements are met
- Interdisciplinary teamwork and shopfloor management within a core project team consisting of representatives from project management, development, quality, logistics, production and controlling to ensure that the project goals of new projects or the production KPIs of series projects are achieved
This is what you bring to us:
- Completed engineering degree (e.g. with a focus on adhesive bonding and mechanical joining) and completed further training as a European Adhesive Engineer (EAE) or equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in project-based work, preferably in the automotive sector for highly automated production lines, with experience in the development and implementation of bonding processes and applications
- In-depth knowledge of adhesive technologies, materials, and processes, as well as experience working with various adhesive materials and applications
- Experience in conducting material and adhesive testing, along with knowledge of relevant testing methods
- Knowledge of quality management and experience in complying with industry standards and regulations is an advantage
- Team player with assertiveness and decision-making ability, as well as good German and English skills, both written and spoken
