Shipping Coordinator

Job Requirements:

General Summary:

Responsible for Finished Goods Flow from Rack Availability through Shipment to Customer to ensure all Customer requirements are met.

 

Education:

High School diploma/GED and or combination of education and related work experience.

 

Required Work Experience:

3 – 5 years Production / Materials experience required


Technical Skills:

  • High School diploma / GED Equivalent
  • 3 – 5 years Production / Materials experience required.
  • Leadership skills and abilities required
  • Ability and licenses to operate a Hi-Lo beneficial, preferred
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required, PC Literate

 

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintain a High Supplier Performance Delivery Rating.
  • Preserve Integrity of Finished Goods in Staging Area and ensure Product is Secured for Shipment
  • Maintain Finished Goods Inventory Control, including Accuracy and FIFO
  • Process Non Production Shipper Requests timely and efficient way.
  • Coordinate Daily Shipments, including Non Production Sheet Requests, FEDEX, UPS and Webasto Inter Company Transfers.
  • Over see scanning and loading of all shipments.
  • Load and unload Trucks as needed.
  • Send ASN’s per Customer requirements.
  • Ship all parts out in a timely manner.
  • Call in Trucks as needed.
  • Coordinate Premium Freight Shipments as required
  • Pull 862’s and ILVS Customer Orders daily (EDI & Manual); Retain Documentation
  • Reconcile Customer CUMS
  • Monitor Customer Databases and Respond Appropriately to DTR’s, Shortage Tickets, etc.
  • Communicate with Customers Shipping Shortages, Truck Balance Out Requirements, etc
  • Daily Reporting of Previous Day Shipment Performance
  • Coordinate FG Shipping Rack Requirements between Plants, Off-Site Storage & Repair Facility
  • Provide leadership and direction to team members (plan material movement ahead of time to minimize downtime).
  • Proper shift communication to ensure smooth information transition.
  • Insure that all IATF / ISO 14001 procedures are followed.
  • Promote and enforce a clean, safe, and organized work environment to meet world class standards.
  • Monitor and maintain all safety equipment, Webasto owned equipment and tools.
  • Enforce all company policies and procedures
  • Verify schedule and material availability for set-ups
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
