You can look forward to these exciting tasks:
- Support engineer’s daily tasks: design, develop and maintain robust, cost-efficient manufacturing equipment and processes consistent with lean manufacturing practices
- Understand all assigned process and test requirements including the capability of processes and equipment
- Perform root cause and failure analysis as required
- Apply lean manufacturing techniques to processes
- Plan and execute time studies and line balances
- Develop and update standard manufacturing work instructions
- Analyze work centers and implement safety and process improvements
- Demonstrate ability to understand sources of variation and identify impact of tolerance stack ups in assemblies by applying Six Sigma design and development strategies
- Develop and conduct experiments as instructed by engineering
