ME Automation (Controls Engineer)

You can look forward to these exciting tasks

  • Diagnose and resolve automation, controls, and robotics issues to minimize downtime and support production uptime targets
  • Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC systems (Allen-Bradley and Siemens), including logic optimization and system improvements
  • Support commissioning, startup, and validation of new automation equipment, robotics, and manufacturing systems
  • Optimize production performance by enhancing cycle time, OLE, and overall equipment reliability through continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to resolve equipment and process issues
  • Perform preventive maintenance and maintain documentation including electrical schematics, PLC backups, and control system records
  • Analyze downtime, quality issues, and system faults using SCADA and MES data to drive root cause analysis and corrective actions


This is what you bring to us

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or related technical field
  • 3 years of experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, or a similar manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens) and familiarity with SCADA and MES systems
  • Experience with industrial robotics (ABB, FANUC, or Universal Robots), including troubleshooting and programming
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently and support off-shift production needs
