Our “Roof & Components (RC)” business unit develops and produces roof systems for every type of vehicle and autonomous driving. To achieve this, we rely on the most modern technologies and materials.  Overall Responsibilities for the SCM function in the plant:   

  • Management and budget responsibility for the complete logistics (inventory control, receiving, storage, empty packaging, packaging design, logistics and transport costs)
  • Responsible for the complete flow of goods and information from suppliers, the receiving, storage, empty packing, packaging design, logistics and transport costs)
  • Responsible for inventory reduction and process improvement in the entire supply chain
  • Management and implementation of SAP optimization measures at the plant
  • Analysis and development of measures for consistent improvement and further development of the logistics processes according to the Webasto production system
  • Improvement of logistics delivery quality pf the suppliers
  • Implementation and facilitation of escalation meetings with national and international suppliers and customers

 

Qualifications:

  • Several years of work experience, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Several years of management experience
  • High level of goal orientation and problem-solving skills
  • Strong in communication, relationship and conflict management
  • High level of commitment, flexibility and willingness to work in a team
  • SAP R/3-Prozess knowledge
