Our “Roof & Components (RC)” business unit develops and produces roof systems for every type of vehicle and autonomous driving. To achieve this, we rely on the most modern technologies and materials. Key Responsibilities

  • Support planning, preparation and documentation of the execution of measurement requests within the defined laboratory scope incl. support of adaption of holding fixtures, support change of measurement programs, reports
  • Execution of measurement requests using existing measurement programs, check plausibility of results, evaluation of conformity (if requested) and documentation of test results
  • Support the definition of measurement concept and systems including planning and execution of their validation in cooperation with relevant experts as well as development of relevant standards
  • Support adjustment of fixtures in case of geometric deviations (shimming)

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Good knowledge in GD&T
  • First experience in operation of coordinate measuring machines with special attention to the impact of the measurement strategy on the measurement uncertainty of the measurement process
  • Good spatial awareness
  • Basic statistical knowledge
  • Knowledge of manufacturing technology and manufacturing processes
  • Analytical approach to problems
  • Basic understanding of most commonly applied Quality tools and processes in the automotive industry (e.g. IATF16949-Environment, APQP)
  • Basic knowledge of product liability law and HSE regulations
  • Must be able to work Monday - Friday; and occasional overtime on Saturday and Sunday
