Webasto is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our new manufacturing plant in New Hudson, MI!

Key Responsibilities
|
- Implementation and integration of relevant ME processes in series production in line with applicable standards
- Definition and updates to work instructions, routings and standard times and monitoring data accuracy
- Preparation and delivery of relevant training activities
- Preparation, analysis and review of process relevant KPIs and identification of improvement potentials
- Preparation and support of audits and release of new equipment
- Preparation of investment feasibility analysis reports

Minimum Qualifications
|
- The ideal candidate would have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or another relevant field
- 3 or more years of experience working in a fast-paced, automotive lean manufacturing environment
- Basic knowledge of working with automotive ME processes and tools (e.g. MES, PFMEA, MTM, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of common automotive ME processes and tools
- Technical understanding of machine parts and drawings
- Experience working with multi-functional manufacturing teams
- Experience with using SAP preferred
- Experience working with polyurethane preferred
- Experience working with process optimization techniques
- Ability to apply problem solving tools
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
