You can look forward to these exciting tasks:
- Disciplinary and professional leadership of assigned team members in the purchasing department within the Heating business unit, including personnel development and qualification
- Definition and coordination of the procurement strategy, including the development and expansion of supplier relationships to achieve goals
- Determination of BOM costs (bill of materials, tool costs) and bundling of requests for quotations within the scope of project procurement
- Price negotiations with suppliers
- Representation of purchasing in steering and control committees
This is what you bring to us:
- University degree in an engineering or business administration field or comparable experience and expertise with many years of professional experience and specialization in procurement
- Several years of experience in purchasing and dealing with suppliers in the automotive environment
- Good knowledge of contract law, strong cost awareness, and analytical thinking
- Strong communication, networking, and negotiation skills
- Very good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken, willingness to travel internationally 20%, secure handling of SAP R3 purchasing modules is desirable
