Industrial PosiCharge – Material Handling Equipment

 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

This position is to generate revenue within the Material Handling Equipment (MHE) market, specifically selling Webasto’s Industrial PosiCharge opportunity and fast charging products for electric forklifts and other related applications.

 

This position is located remotely in the United States, with no firm requirements on geographic regions.

 

Duties include:

  • The role of the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is to generate revenue fin the respective region.
  • Selling to occur directly to the end user and through sales channel partners.
  • The RSM provides regional dealer support by making joint, end user sales calls with dealers and providing sales training.
  • Establish new sales channel partners (dealers) and provide support to new and existing partners.
  • Responsible for sales forecasting and reporting.
  • Ability to “Close Deals” in an efficient and profitable manner by leveraging consultative selling techniques.
  • Maintain high level of product knowledge.
  • Attend trade shows and association meetings as required.
  • Serve as point of contact for customer issues.
  • Responsible for requesting and participating in application studies, cost of ownership calculations, product demonstrations, preparing proposals, and ensuring the accuracy of sales orders.
  • Ability to navigate a complicated sales environment including multiple dealers.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND NECESSARY BACKGROUND:

  • Experience in material handling industry or related industry preferred.
  • Prefer a minimum of 5 years’ experience selling through direct and dealer sales channels.
  • Prefer familiarity with SalesForce.com.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, ability to communicate to a broad range of professionals from mechanic to engineer to C-Level manager, ability to customize communications according to audience.
