Production Engineer (f/m/x)

Our Business Area Electrification (EE) develops and produces battery systems as well as electric and fuel-powered thermal solutions. Additionally, the business unit includes our aftermarket division, Customized & Lifecycle Solutions (EC), offering products and solutions for nearly all types of on-/off-highway and shore vehicles, with a strong focus on thermal and energy management solutions.

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

  • Participation from the earliest stages of creation, in the development teams of new company products
  • Development of equipment necessary for internal production processes in accordance with the principles of Lean Production
  • Standardization of internal production processes
  • Supervising the introduction of new products into production, guaranteeing quality, target costs, safety and initial training for new staff
  • Efficiency of company production processes
  • In alignment with global business strategy, implementation/developing of new processes in coordination with Global Process Leaders (UNITE/SAP project)

 

This is what you bring to us:

  • Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
  • Experience of at least 5 years in manufacturing companies; familiar with electrical / leak testing and manual small series assembly processes
  • Knowledge of problem solving and process quality techniques and methodologies (P-FMEA, etc)
  • Strong ability to plan and coordinate activities
  • Good knowledge of the English language
  • Proficient in MS Office and experienced with 3D CAD systems
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, SAP and ERP/CRM Programs
  • Preferably have SAP key-user experience and organize other user’s trainings
  • Proactive, dynamic, challenging team player with perfect communication skills
  • Excellent reporting and presentation skills
  • Analytical, creative and strategic minded with good follow-up ability
  • Military service must be completed
  • Driving license B
