Maintenance Technician Electrical (f/m/x)

Our Business Area Electrification (EE) develops and produces battery systems as well as electric and fuel-powered thermal solutions. Additionally, the business unit includes our aftermarket division, Customized & Lifecycle Solutions (EC), offering products and solutions for nearly all types of on-/off-highway and shore vehicles, with a strong focus on thermal and energy management solutions.

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

 

  • Programming of systems primarily in SIEMENS S7/TIA Portal
  • Electrical planning with EPLAN
  • Participation in the design and layout of machine processes as well as involvement in the design of machine controls and components
  • Project supervision up to final acceptance by the customer
  • Optimization, expansion, and adaptation of control systems for existing systems
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution
  • Participation in the design of machine interfaces to the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for data storage in a comprehensive traceability system
  • Interdisciplinary teamwork in a core project team with representatives from project management, development, quality, logistics, and controlling
  • Document creation for production, planning, and project design
  • Participation in CE documentation, risk assessments, and hazard evaluations for machines and systems

 

 

This is what you bring to us:

  • Master or technician, specializing in automation technology/informatics/electrical engineering
  • Very good knowledge in the field of automation; experience in programming automation and plant safety systems
  • In-depth knowledge of PLC programming with B&R or SIEMENS S7/TIA Portal
  • Good knowledge of electrical planning with EPLAN
  • WinCC visualization, Can/CanOpen, databases, and Profinet knowledge
  • Proficient in programming languages Codesys / Visual Basic C/C++ and common development tools
  • Machine safety and CE knowledge
  • Analytical skills as well as a structured and method-based approach to work
  • A high degree of independence, commitment, and flexibility
  • Team spirit and communication skills
  • Good German language skills, good English language skills in both spoken and written form
