  • Assure compliance to all accounting processes within WBS
  • Ensure up to date accounting process descriptions and work instructions
  • Coordinate both training/onboarding as well as quality assurance measures via the accounting Key Users 
  • Coordinate 1st Level support by key users within WBS
  • Be the interface towards GPO as the 2nd Level support and for process changes
  • Implement process changes and improvements in all accounting processes with support of Key Users and Operations Team Leads
  • Drive accounting process improvements in alignment with GPO and in cooperation with the Business Process Improvement team in WBS Lisbon
  • Act as the Finance Business Partner for internal WBS customers (mainly local Finance Directors):

                  - Gain business alignment to successfully identify and understand the business strategy

                  - Act as a catalyst in driving forward initiatives critical to delivering the strategy

                  - Understand SLA requirements and drive team consistently achieve and surpass expectations – periodical review

                    and adjustment of FTE recharge

                  - Point of contact for escalation of customer issues within assigned process





  • College degree in Accounting/Controlling 
  • Deep and broad understanding of all accounting areas
  • Experience in operational accounting department preferably in an SSC environment
  • Experience in the cooperation in international teams
  • Experience in month-end and year-end closing activities according to IFRS
  • Experience in SAP (Rollout projects are an advantage)
  • Very good skills in MS-Office
  • Very good knowledge of SAP R/3 Accounting modules (AM, AR, AP, GL) 
  • Basic knowledge of SAP R/3 Controlling modules (CO, PS, EC-PCA und COPA) 
  • Very good English skills 
  • Strong Challenge, negotiation, and influence skills
