IT Security Specialist (m/f/x)

Responsibilities:

• As a Security Expert (SOC Analyst) at Webasto, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the security posture of our organization;
• You will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data;
• The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cybersecurity, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment;
• Monitor security alerts and events from various sources, including SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and other security technologies;
• Investigate and analyze security incidents to identify and respond to potential threats;
• Collaborate with other IT and cybersecurity teams to implement security measures and controls;
• Develop and maintain documentation related to incident response procedures and security policies;
• Participate in the development and improvement of security operations processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field;
• Proven experience as a SOC Analyst or in a similar cybersecurity role;
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies;
• Experience with SIEM tools, intrusion detection systems, and other security technologies;
• Knowledge of industry-accepted cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001);
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, GIAC, CISSP) are a plus;
• Fluent in written and spoken English;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to handle high pressure in critical situations;
• Strong networking and teamwork skills;
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
