Responsibilities:

• Responsible for HSE management system & policies adherence and its monitoring;
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with all legal aspects and standards, etc. on occupational safety and hazardous substance management as well as the implementation of changed legal situations in operational processes;
• Planning and support of internal & external system audits; 
• Actively participate in and promote HSE activities;
• Ensuring the operational readiness of structural and infrastructural site facilities including planning, monitoring maintenance schedules, coordinate offers gathering, and supporting structural and technical measures;
• Plan and coordinate a Low-energy strategy;
• Liaison between Webasto Portugal and Webasto HQ/ local entities, fulfilling all needed inquiries, demands, etc;
• Bring the outcome of continuous improvement, such as internal audits, complaints, to the attention of Managers and agree effective preventative actions. 

Requirements:

• Certified Technical Course of Health and Safety at Work (level V or VI);
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in HSE & Facilities coordination roles;
• Good knowledge of the latest applicable HSE regulations and legal requirements as well as the most common HSE risk assessment tools and processes;
• An understanding of continuous improvement, internal auditing practice, and the ability to coordinate schedules;
• Ability to collect and analyze data for reporting purposes;
• Experience in “Emergency prevention and response measures”;
• Self-disciplined for autonomously prioritize assignments;
• Good written and verbal communication skills;
• English proficiency written and spoken.
