You can look forward to these exciting tasks:
- Prepare complex journal entries, provide technical guidance, and ensure compliance with IFRS and Group Accounting policies.
- Coordinate and perform period-end and month-end closing activities in collaboration with local and global finance teams and in line with group closing calendar
- Manage monthly GL closing process (account clearing, intercompany reconciliation, customer/vendor reclassification, AP/AR aging report, sub-ledger reconciliation).
- Performs GL account reconciliations including action plan
- Manage and process incoming supplier invoices with and without Purchase Order
- Perform GR/IR analysis and follow-up on open items and perform its respective clearing
- Process customer cash allocation and manage bank statements.
- Detect customer payment deltas and respond appropriately in alignment with sales and local finance.
- Manage customer dunning process according to the defined schedule.
- Intercompany Netting.
- Create Ad-hoc and recurring reports including monthly/annual reporting package.
- Prepare documentation and provide necessary financial data and support to external auditors during audits.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve desktop procedures and process documentation to ensure operational consistency and compliance.
- Identify and contribute to implementation of continuous improvement iniciatives
This is what you bring to us:
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a shared service environment.
- College degree in Business Administration or equivalent accounting qualification.
- Proficient with SAP-FI.
- Advanced knowledge of MS office tools (MS Outlook and Excel).
- Excellent English skills, one further European language is desirable.
- Communication skills and cooperative mindset and a high level of accountability and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Critical Thinking to analyse complex topics;
- Team player with a good sense of different company/ country cultures.
- Ability to analyze daily situations considering the risk and available information, picturing the diverse scenarios, to adopt the best solution.
- Ability to respond to change with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new ways to accomplish work activities and objectives.
