Supervisor

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• College degree in Technical, Management, or Business field preferred
• 5 - 10 years previous supervisory experience in an automotive/manufacturing environment
• Excellent Leadership skills required
• Excellent organization and problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal, oral and written communication skills
• Ability and willingness to work long hours as necessary

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    Train, develop, monitor and evaluate subordinate colleagues

•    Provide leadership and direction to team members

•    Monitors production operation to ensure colleague safety, product quality and production    efficiency

•    Supervise all activities, personnel including team captains, process technicians, equipment and production

•    Monitor change over and/or line set up efficiency

•    Prepare line set-ups for following shifts, this includes first piece buyoffs

•    Interface with Production Scheduling to determine schedules for shift production and ensure schedule is met

•    Monitor plant housekeeping and ensure compliance with 5S standards

•    Maintain outside areas of plant and outside storage areas

•    Enforce all company policies and procedures

•    Monitor and report all production documentation including setup documentation

•    Monitor production process for CI in both efficiency and quality

•    Interface with Human Resources on all policy and discipline issues

•    Address colleagues concerns and use people skills to resolve the issues

•    Communicate with all on priority of special assignments or any issues needed

•     Monitor and maintain all safety equipment, Webasto owned equipment and tools
