Our “Roof & Components (RC)” business unit develops and produces roof systems for every type of vehicle and autonomous driving. To achieve this, we rely on the most modern technologies and materials. Principle Duties and Responsibilities

· Work within the principles of the Colleague Guidebook.

· Must wear proper safety equipment.

· Must work as a member of the team.

· Provide a safe and clean work environment.

· Communicate the needs and concerns of colleagues to the appropriate personnel.

· Flexible to work in all areas, as well as other assigned tasks.

· Follow IATF & ISO-45001 procedures.

· Learn to utilize skills such as cutting, fabricating, sanding, operate drill press, welding, and other

maintenance skills.

· Learn how to troubleshoot PLC programming (Allen-Bradley and Siemens Tia portal).

· Understand how to operate robots such as ABB, Fanuc, and UR.

· Participates in training to increase technical skills.

· Performs all duties in a professional, ethical, and legal manner.

· Represents the department and company in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner.

· Complete preventative maintenance tasks

 

Authority

  • Shut down any equipment that may be malfunctioning or causing a safety problem

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college / technical school OR High School diploma/GED

Equivalent and 2 years’ experience in related field.

· Ability to be taught and willingness to learn.

· Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly.

· Must have a basic understanding of the English language and math skills.

· Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and proficiency in using them.

· Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

· Excellent attendance required.

· Good attitude daily.

· Excellent organizational and planning skill
