Our “Roof & Components (RC)” business unit develops and produces roof systems for every type of vehicle and autonomous driving. To achieve this, we rely on the most modern technologies and materials. Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Work within principles of the Colleague Guidebook.Perform scheduled preventative maintenance duties.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and equipment; as well as repair and/or modify electronic equipment such as: PLC’s, Robotics, vision systems, motor drives, etc.
- Complete assigned projects and work orders. Support and implement continuous improvement of equipment. Documentation of repairs and work performed.
- Ability to fabricate components for projects and machine repairs. Support implementation and start-up of new equipment.
- Follow TS 16949 & ISO 14001 procedures.
- Lock out/tag out machinery when necessary. Authority Shut down any equipment that may be malfunctioning or causing a safety problem.
- Report accidents and damaged equipment immediately to a supervisor.Ability to problem solve and improve safety, productivity, and quality of systems and equipment. Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- 2-year associate degree in a related field with 1 year of Industrial Maintenance experience or 3 years Industrial Maintenance/Military experience.
- Knowledge of Allen Bradley RS Logix 5000 and Siemens Tia Portal PLC programming. Experience in robot programming (ABB and Fanuc preferred)
- Strong electrical and mechanical skillset. Knowledge of OSHA requirements. Maintain ongoing education regarding new technology.
- Capable of reading and understanding blueprints. Ability to comply with company policies and procedures. Ability to work flexible hours.
- Ability to lift and carry weights greater than 35 lbs. Must be able to stand for long hours. Able to work overtime, and up to 7 days if necessary. Excellent attendance is required. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Work generally performed in an office and manufacturing environment and requires strict adherence to safety policies and procedures. Bonus: Electrical certification or degree.
