Maintenance Technician (Automotive)

Our Business Area Roof is the global market leader for sunroofs, panoramic roofs, and convertible roofs, offering roof solutions with true added value. As roof specialists, we also provide customized and innovative solutions that meet the highest quality standards for electric mobility, the future of autonomous driving, and the use of solar energy.

You can look forward to these exciting tasks

  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems, including PLCs, robotics, vision systems, and motor drives.
  • Fabricate components, complete assigned projects/work orders, and support equipment modifications, improvements, and new equipment start-ups.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and system updates.
  • Ensure compliance with TS 16949, ISO 14001, and all company safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout.
  • Report accidents, equipment damage, and unsafe conditions promptly to supervision.
  • Apply problem-solving skills to improve safety, productivity, and quality of systems and equipment.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment in alignment with company standards.


This is what you bring to us

  • Education through an apprenticeship, vocational program, or equivalent technical training.
  • Strong technical knowledge of maintenance practices, equipment troubleshooting, and repair methods.
  • Up to 3 years of relevant hands-on maintenance or manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to apply learned skills in preventative maintenance, safety compliance, and equipment support.
  • Willingness to grow within the role; leadership experience not required but team collaboration essential.
