In this role, you will be part of our Webasto Tech Academy. A dynamic department that is continuously in development. Within a fast-growing Charging and Energy Solutions market, the Tech Academy specializes in developing and transferring technical product content. Through this, we are enabling colleagues and customers to sell, install, service, and use our premium high-end products.

 

As EV Charging Specialist you will build videos, organize webinars and deliver demos as great performances to show the world how excellent our products, services, and solutions are. Your face will be part of our brand as you’ll be on the screen of our colleagues and customers. You make sure they get to know everything there is to know about our Charging products. Your key performance indicators will be focused on:

 

 

  • Growing “Engaged Advocates” (people who train, sell, install, service, and share using our product)
  • Driving conversions
  • Increasing level of network competences
  • Collecting reviews of your events

 

It’s your task to make sure that our colleagues and their customers have everything they need to turn knowledge into competence for selling, installing, and servicing our Charging products. You will do this by continuously using of multichannel and hybrid content; live training, online video content, demos, teasers, webinars, podcasts, stakeholder interviews, and social media. You will use these platforms to shine, take your podium, engage others and transfer your expertise to your customers. 


Just some tasks you will face as a Charging Specialist:

 

  • Drive and realize suitable training materials (digital & non-digital) for internal and external customers
  • Create and implement a framework to periodically create content on internal and external social media
  • Facilitate, organize and present digital technical knowledge sessions
  • Continuously provide Charging product training and content, on every channel 
  • Continuously prioritized the backlog to make sure we keep our focus


To empower you we make sure our Sales and Service organization will involve you as their best asset to bring in. Your passion and technical product expertise, wrapped in great content will be the face of our organization.
As a result of your work, your audience is fully enabled to do their task. In this role, you will be the person they remember and an ambassador for the charging community. The community to which you are fully engaged.

Musthaves:

 

  • You have a background in Technical Engineering
  • You have didactic experience
  • An advanced user of digital tools (MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
  • Great experience with Social Media platforms like Yammer, MS Stream, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language on a professional level

 

Good to haves:

 

  • Scrum Product Owner certificate
  • Experience with Agile Scrum methodology
  • German language
