- Disciplinary and functional lead of supplier quality team in the plant
Disciplinary reporting to the plant Quality Manger and functional reporting line to the Manager Supplier Development of the region - Ensure compliance and active management of health and safety regulations and needs within the assigned environment
- Proactively support risk assessments in the area, ensuring unsafe practices and equipment are identified and eliminated.
- Develop team members and accountable for the compliance with company processes and procedures including usage of digital solutions and ERP systems towards steadily increasing efficiency.
- Drive and develop overall output/performance of Supplier Quality Function, identify trends and review, analyse and define actions out of performance indicators
- In charge of all relevant Supplier Quality related tasks in Series-production until end of lifetime
- Accountable for APQP and PPAP process/content for Inter-Company process
- Accountable APQP and PPAP process/content in series production for external and internal suppliers
- Manages incoming inspection including necessary steps in case of irregularities
- Q2-Claim/8D- and Requalification-Management in Series production
- Drive and contribution of supplier escalations according to the supplier escalation model
- Contribution to supplier Audit planning
- Drive 5S activities to ensure standards are maintained / improved
Here's what you can bring to the team:
- Academic degree in business administrations, economics, engineering or a related subject area
- Profound experience working in an automated manufacturing environment, preferably Automotive
- Good technical knowledge of relevant production processes.
- Additional Training for leading people & applicable local labor laws
- Experience in the application of APQP/PPAP, Quality Management Systems, Quality Methods & Tools, such as IATF, VDA, ISO, Customer Specific Requirements and their implications;
- Good knowledge of applicable customer specific requirements and relevant Quality-related company, legal and customer standards requirements, significant/critical characteristics and product safety implications
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and other software applications used in Manufacturing environments
- Good knowledge of problem solving and basic continuous improvement tools, analytical and structured decision making
- Good knowledge of statistical tools and measurement analysis
- Conflict resolution, communication and negotiation skills
- Business fluent English is mandatory, German and / or French language skills are a plus
