• Participation in the compliance control of Product Safety & Conformity systems through audits at the plant, including suppliers
• Participation as well as preparation in customer audits
• Contributing to customers' negotiations such as contracts or customer specific requirements
• Analysis of Product Safety-related KPIs by proposing and implementing potential solutions to optimize Continuous Improvement and Lesson Learned
• Review of the Market Observation tool and possible additional portals for incidents
• Technical preparation as well as internal and external communication in case of Webasto Recalls
• Optimization, implementation and governance of preventive approaches to robust and safe products and processes in collaboration with Quality Engineering
• Support the preparation of training documents and conduction of training
• Optimization and identification of warranty standards, processes, methods and tools and risks  e.g. global wins & risks list, as well as cross reading activities and lessons learned
• Coordination of warranty related KPI-analyses, warranty parts fault analyses, field data analyses
• Support problem solving of Warranty related issues
• Collaborate on the development of Project Warranty Concept
• Negotiations with customer e.g. contracts, warranty requirements, acceptance rates, serial claims and support customer reduction programs
• Identification, implementation and review of improvement activities aimed at warranty cost reduction as well as contribution on the implementation of warranty cost recovery from the supply chain

Here's what you can bring to the team:

• Certified Product Safety responsible, Product Auditor
• Engineer Degree in Quality or related
• Good knowledge of the Product Safety Act and product liability law
• Good knowledge of IATF and VDA 6.3 audit requirements and practices
• Good knowledge of all relevant standards and customer requirements
• Methodical knowledge of risk assessments and worldwide 8-D report, technical drawings, standards and corrective measures
• Technical background on the specific product and potential safety critical areas
• Experience in field analysis of products
• Demonstrated intercultural agility
• Business fluent English is mandatory, German and / or French language skills are a plus
