Shift Team Leader L6 (F/M/X)

Our Business Area Roof is the global market leader for sunroofs, panoramic roofs, and convertible roofs, offering roof solutions with true added value. As roof specialists, we also provide customized and innovative solutions that meet the highest quality standards for electric mobility, the future of autonomous driving, and the use of solar energy.

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

  • Coach and supervise production operators.
  • Develop versatility in the team to adapt it to customer needs.
  • Monitor safe work behaviors for all team members, monitor unsafe working conditions or behavior to Plant leadership as needed, respect of existing rules
  • Provide leadership and direction to employees, to influence positively their behavior, to continuously improve their know-how and knowledge and to reinforce the message of ownership and responsibility.
  • Deploy Lean tooling in order to get Lean thinking.
  • Assist the team in meeting the quality, yield, volume objectives set by Plant leadership, in close cooperation with Learning & Development
  • Lead improvement actions to reduce customer claims.
  • Detect deviations, anticipate issues, identify the root-causes, define/ apply appropriate actions, and measure the progress, to reach the main targets.

 

This is what you bring to us: 

  • Bachelor’s degree /Technical or Mechanical degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in the same role, in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Accept Shift work 3x8
  • Knowledge in logistics, inventory and process control is mandatory
  • LEAN mindset and knowledge.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Effective ability to lead and direct others.
  • Ability and willingness to uphold the Webasto Values
  • Self-motivated and proactive at completing tasks in a timely manner
  • Excellent communication skills, in English and French; German is a strong asset.
