You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

 

  • Setting up each tool prior to a scheduled run, ensuring process parameters are met and part quality is acceptable 
  • Proposing and implementing continuous improvement actions in close relation to production, maintenance, engineering, development, and quality departments
  • Participating in the development of the LEAN manufacturing program
  • Taking part in the development and implementation of new processes for future products
  • Participating in training to increase skills
  • Reports directly to Process Managers

 

Here's what you can bring to the team:

 

  • Completed Bachelor's degree or a degree in mechanical or maintenance engineering
  • Having practiced in LEAN manufacturing is appreciated and considered a plus
  • 2-5 years of experience in an industrial environment is a plus
  • Must have a process approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Self-starter able to work with limited supervision to maintain process quality 
  • Able to set up and maintain quality production standards 
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations associated with processing parameters
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in the automotive industry
  • Fluency in English or French, and German is an advantage
  • Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
