You can look forward to these exciting tasks:
- Analyze, design, and optimize glass manufacturing processes under cleanroom conditions, ensuring high quality, yield, and efficient cycle times
- Ensure stable and reproducible processes through monitoring and control using statistical methods (e.g., SPC, Cp/Cpk)
- Conduct root cause analyses (RCA) and define, implement, and track corrective and preventive actions
- Support the introduction of new products, materials, and technologies (NPI) into production
- Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and technical specifications
- Provide technical support in close collaboration with production, quality, maintenance, and R&D teams, while driving continuous improvement (Lean, CIP, Six Sigma) and ensuring compliance with standards and audits (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14644)
This is what you bring to us:
- Master/Bachelor in Engineering or a comparable technical discipline. Alternative: Equivalent technical education combined with extensive industrial experience. Preferred: Specialization in manufacturing engineering, production systems, or automation
- first relevant professional experience (automotive, industrialization, process engineer etc)
- Technical competencies: Industrialization & Manufacturing, Equipment & Production Systems, Automotive / Quality Methods, Data & Problem Solving
- Personal Competencies: Analytical mindset, Hands-on mentality, Strong communication skills, Structured and solution-oriented approach, Ownership and accountability
- International Collaboration: Fluent English skills (written and spoken) (any further language is advantage), Experience working in international project environments, Willingness to travel occasionally to production sites and suppliers
