For the expansion of our production site for automotive glass (roofs, windshields and rear windows) in Grevenmacher (Luxembourg), we are looking for committed colleagues (f/m/d) who will help shape our success story with their expertise and passion.

 

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

 

  • Coordinating and managing the daily mechanical/electrical maintenance and repair of production equipment within a shift to ensure or increase the constant technical availability of the lines
  • Monitor safe work behaviors for all team members, monitor unsafe working conditions or behavior to Plant leadership as needed, respect of existing rules.
  • Appropriate distribution of tasks among the available workforce of maintenance staff based on the daily production plan
  • Error analysis and correction
  • Identification and implementation of improvements and procedure updates of machines, tools, equipment and processes
  • Acting as interface between maintenance team and the production line
  • Preparation of workstation training for (new) team members
  • Information of team about daily targets, any current issues and quality alerts in line with daily action process guidelines
  • Performing effective handovers from one shift to the next

 

Here's what you can bring to the team:

 

  • Degree in Electrical / Electrotechnical / Mechanical field 
  • High experience in Mechanics (pneumatics and hydraulics) and/or e-plan processing and/or knowledge of switching capability 20kV, holds relevant legal certification.
  • Additional training for managing people
  • Basic knowledge of PLC, PC and robot programming
  • Basic knowledge of MS-Office
  • Good knowledge of basic problem solving and CI tools
  • Working knowledge of relevant HSE and workplace safety requirements and relevant certifications to ensure compliance
  • Good knowledge of applicable quality systems including customer specific requirements, significant/critical characteristics (SC/CC) and product safety
  • Fluent in English, French and/or German
