To expand our production site for car glass (roofs, windshields and rear windows) in Grevenmacher (Luxembourg), we are looking for committed colleagues (f/m/d) who will help shape our success story through their expertise and passion.

 

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

 

  • Programming of production equipment and related control units
  • Writing programs/programming of PLC controls and for test benches
  • Support continuous improvement, maintenance and process optimization of machines, tools, equipment, and processes
  • Error analysis and correction in case of breakdowns
  • Virtual and physical commissioning of relevant manufacturing equipment
  • Participate in projects or manage projects linked to PLC programming.

 

Here's what you can bring to the team:

 

  • A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Substantial experience in PLC Programming (Siemens preferred)
  • Ability to program vision systems (Keyence preferred), Motor drives (SEW preferred), Electrical axis (Festo preferred)
  • Ability to read and write logic (Ladder or Sequential Function Chart)
  • Knowledge of communications protocol between PLC, Robots, supervision and traceability systems
  • Experience in MES and tracability system implementation
  • 5 or more years of experience working in a fast-paced or automotive industry
  • Basic knowledge of working with automotive processes and tools, and Lean Principles
  • Technical understanding of machine parts and drawings, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems
  • Understanding of and ability to apply Lean problem solving tools
  • Working as a member of cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of process optimization technique
  • Fluent in English
