Webasto is looking for:



Ensures efficiency and quality in the shipping and receiving processes. Maintains inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items. Utilizes leadership skills and knowledge to lead team members for activities such as receiving product, picking components for customers and production orders, cycle counting inventory, following customer guidelines and requirements in shipping, and balancing the workload among team members. Maintains inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items; securing warehouse; supervising staff



Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:


  1. Responsible for being a leadership resource to team members, providing knowledge, experience, motivation, support and advice.
  2. Understands proper procedures for workers to follow and ensures that they comply.
  3. Encourages team effort and supportive attitudes between workers.
  4. Ensures proper PPE is supplied and used along with safe work practices.
  5. Monitors activities and efficiency during receiving, shipping, and picking processes.
  6. Responsible for setting high standards to reach logistics goals, meeting quality assurance standards, approving proper receiving and cycle counting accuracy.
  7. Organize and maintain inventory and storage area.
  8. Ensure the accuracy of inventory and shipments.
  9. Implement new methods, processes, and improvements.
  10. Identify operations needing improvement and implement solutions to adjust current work practices and procedures
  11. Manages resources to ensure timely completion of all logistic activities and ultimately on time deliveries to our customers.
  12. Reviews and approves time cards.
  13. Security and sanitation of the warehouse is also a concern for team leaders. If incidents occur compromising safety or security, the team leader reports them.
  14. Promote and ensure 5S standards are met and support continuous improvement ideas.



High School Diploma


Knowledge and proficiency of:

  1. Reading and understanding work instructions
  2. Basic MS Outlook, Word and Excel skills
  3. Managing sales orders and inventory transactions in ERP systems
  4. Warehouse and assembly operations
  5. Warehouse and assembly relevant activities related to ISO9001, TS16949 & ISO14001 standards
  6. Follow ISO14001/9001, IATF/TS16949 processes, as required
  7. Everyone has the responsibility and right to stop production or shipment if they suspect product does not meet quality requirements.

Ability to:

  1. Read and comprehend work instructions, procedures and related warehouse documentation
  2. Motivate, support and lead workers to achieve expected results
  3. Solve problems
  4. Interact with other departments

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
