Webasto is looking for:


The Program Manager is responsible for all engineering projects. This includes project planning, overlooking and coordinating of all project activities and leading the project team. Responsible for project budgets, to meet cost targets, project timing and product quality and functionality. Projects include new product development, application, product changes and new product introductions. All projects follow standard Webasto project management processes (PEP). The program manager is responsible for the project management system at WTNA. Main markets include: Car After Market, Truck & Off-Highway OE and Aftermarket, Marine OE & Aftermarket, Military & RV OE and Aftermarket. Products include: Fuel operated and electric heaters, HVAC systems, batteries, chargers and sunroofs for the vehicle and marine industry.



Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:


  • Lead cross functional development teams. Work collaboratively with Webasto HQ in Germany as well as with other Webasto locations around the world.
  • Ensures projects are meet or exceed requirements and expectations, on time within budget.
  • Guides the entire project team assigned through meticulous and detailed tracking of program open issues/tasks. As required conducts regular open issues meetings.
  • Assumes a key leadership role in identifying and solving product/program problems.  In case of complex or difficult-to-solve issues, works with management to properly escalate for quick resolution if needed.
  • Creates, gathers and/or organize appropriate and requested program documentation such as open issues tracking etc. Must adapt to managing all program-related documents within the Webasto project folder structure.
  • Improves processes and tools used to guide and support project teams.
  • Provides sales support in managing the PEP requirements when quoting new business.
  • Follow ISO14001/9001, IATF/TS16949 processes, as required.
  • Everyone has the responsibility and right to stop production or shipment if they suspect product does not meet quality requirements.
  • Additional duties as assigned



  • Equivalent to the completion of Bachelors in Engineering is required (BSME/BSEE) 4-year University degree with 3-5+ years prior experience preferably within the automotive, truck or off-highway industry.
  • Prior work experience in automotive HVAC, or similar Systems Engineering/Program Management role in automotive, truck or off highway environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project).
  • Working knowledge in the area of vehicle thermal systems
  • Working knowledge in the area of vehicle electric/electronic systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.


  • Ability to manage projects with different complexity levels, including planning and organization, decision making, problem solving and work delegation.
  • Strong presentations skills. Must be able to present to large and small groups including project teams, management and customers.
  • Possess high level of self-motivation and work independently when necessary as well as efficiently and effectively within Teams.
  • Be detail oriented
  • Perform many tasks at once, and handle responsibilities that can change on a daily basis, prioritize to meet deadlines
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Use independent judgment and initiative to interpret and follow oral and written instructions with attentiveness to detail
