POSITION SUMMARY:
As a member of the Executive Team, reporting to the President/CEO, the Director of Sales RSB/CSB/OE is responsible for providing leadership, coordination and management of all Sales processes and functions. This position supervises the Sales RSB/CSB/OE team, as well as the Sales Engineering (SENG) team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Development and implementation of the Product/Market Strategy by market segment, based on the regional / global WTNA America Strategy.
- Development of the Sales and Distribution channel strategy of the different Market segments.
- Recognize Mega and Market trends. Translation of the market requirements in close collaboration with Product Management into Product and Service requirements.
- Support competitor analysis and monitoring, including competitor benchmarks in collaboration with Product Management
- Analysis of market potential for the relevant market segments.
- Create sales forecasts to support budgeting requirements.
- Align Sales Strategy with Marketing and Communication plan, as maintained by Head of Marketing.
- Support the development of the local Sales structures in close coordination with Sales Managers
- Coordinate and support the definition of the local price strategy, as well as global OEs.
- Work within global Webasto standards and process guidelines.
- Maintenance of accurate sales-related data for use with certain Business Tools such SAP, CRM, Dealer Portal, etc.
- Leadership of sales engineering function (SENG) to support customer projects
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree or significant relevant experience. At least 10 years of relevant Business experience in the Automotive Industry. Additional language skills are a plus.
Knowledge and proficiency of:
- Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
- Customer Relationship Management software tools (eg. Salesforce, MS Dynamics)
- Enterprise Resource Management software tools (eg SAP)
- Excellent organizational skills and communication skills
- Development, management and execution of successful promotional campaigns
- Developing and executing product launch strategies
Ability to:
- Have a good technical understanding of products and services
- Implement excellent strategic competences
- Understand pricing strategies
- Build trust with other functional groups (OPS, CTS, RMC, PSM, Quality) and other stakeholders
