Webasto is looking for:


The Digital Marketing Expert understands, analyzes and reports on the digital customer’s journey and works cross-functionally to execute targeted online and eCommerce related strategies. With the goal of driving website traffic, this position cultivates leads, and turns site visitors into buying customers. The Digital Marketing Expert also monitors and updates the North American corporate website and develops content for social media channels. With content creation being an important part of the role, creativity and versatility are key to this position.

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Create content for websites, social media and digital initiatives
  2. Regularly monitor site traffic and usage patterns (ex. using Matomo and Google analytics)
  3. Identify opportunities to increase website traffic, session duration, conversion rate and average order value
  4. Project management of website design projects (timelines, budgets, scopes)
  5. Develop and maintain a keen understanding of eCommerce, technical and SEO/SEM capabilities
  6. Lead and support software implementation changes to identify possible technical and/or UX implications
  7. Create, design, and structure online marketing initiatives
  8. Development and execution of annual digital marketing plan
  9. Communicate, monitor and measure performance of digital agency partners
  10. Develop and maintain dealer locator
  11. Manage websites Domains and Hosting
  12. Create and distribute e-mail marketing campaigns and regular communication to customers


Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Website Design, Graphic Design, Art or other related field. Three (3) years or more experience in a professional environment preferred.


Knowledge of:

  1. Website design, development & hosting, and eCommerce platforms
  2. Online marketing tactics, google analytics, SEO, SEM and social media
  3. Adobe programs (i.e. WordPress, Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  4. CMS, html, coding and database driven websites
  5. Photography and video editing
  6. Familiarity with CRM systems (such as Microsoft CRM, HubSpot and Salesforce) and marketing automation tools
  7. Basic knowledge of the development, management and execution of a successful digital marketing campaign
  8. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  9. Excellent organizational skills and verbal and written communication skills

  3. Multi-task successfully while working independently or within a team environment
  4. Travel 10% for content creatrion, trade shows, corporate meetings & various other events
  5. Follow ISO14001/9001, IATF/TS16949 processes, as required.
