You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

• Responsible for the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements and the annual financial statements in accordance with Austrian GAAP (UGB) for the legal entity in Austria, including branches in Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Romania (Central Eastern Europe region)
• Operational controlling for the CEE business cluster, including deriving and tracking improvement measures
• Preparation of the annual budget as well as periodic financial forecasts
• Main point of contact for local external auditors and tax authorities, as well as the central finance department at the headquarters in Germany
• Responsible for local statutory reporting (e.g. Intrastat, VAT advance returns)
• Financial sparring partner for local management and the sales organization
• Close collaboration with the Accounting Shared Service Center

This is what you bring to us:

• Successfully completed degree in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering with a focus on Finance / Controlling
• At least 2 years of professional experience in Controlling
• Knowledge of SAP (S/4HANA or R/3) is an advantage
• Basic accounting knowledge is desirable
• Solid understanding of Austrian GAAP (UGB) and IFRS
• Strong ability to analyze and interpret P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statements
• High level of personal responsibility combined with flexibility, strong communication skills and a collaborative team mindset
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken

The minimum salary for the position of Controlling Specialist (m/f/d) is EUR 55,000.00 gross per year (all-in) based on full-time employment, with the possibility of higher pay depending on your 
individual qualifications and experience. The branch is located in the 23rd district.
