Webasto is seeking a results driven and motivated leader to join our team as a Sales Director - Asian OEMs and New Mobility Players at our North American headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI.
What you will do – Essential Responsibilities:
• Manage customer and project profit as an entrepreneur. Lead the organization to ensure we target the right projects and execute/maintain those projects in a manner that creates positive business for the company. Set and align your vision for your customer group within Webasto and then lead your team to execute that strategy passionately and courageously
• Drive the market. As technology leader for roof systems, we are in a unique position to motivate positive and fascinating industry trends. Drive our global team to understand the needs of our markets and customers and build bridges to match Webasto competence to the development of technology which fulfills those needs
• Lead negotiation strategy and relationship management between Webasto (Board, Sales VP, GKAM, Sales Manager, Program Manager) and customer
• Contract review and negotiation for project-specific contracts as well as subordinate contracts (e.g. standard contracts, general terms and conditions)
• Lead/hire team of account managers and sales specialists. Delegate key tasks within the team and ensure efficient use of shared services / support from cross functional teams
The minimum requirements you will need:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field
• At least 10 plus years of relevant professional experience with 5 or more years in a leadership role; preferably in the automotive industry
• Acute awareness of cost structures and financial efficiency
• Expertise in managing international automotive client portfolios
• Skilled in crafting win-win solutions through effective negotiation techniques
• Strong leadership in managing diverse teams toward shared business objectives
