Webasto Roof Systems Inc. is currently recruiting for a Purchasing Business Analyst located at their HQ in Auburn Hills, MI. 

 

The Purchasing Business Analyst is responsible for the definition, governance, implementation and improvement of processes, methods and tools.  This individual achieves “Business Excellence” by implementing global standards, intelligent processes, IT-Tools and considering processes End-to-End.

Job Responsibilities:
    • Facilitate audits and risk assessments internally and manage inherent and residual risks
    • Leading/ supporting the development and implementation of the corrective actions for processes weaknesses
    • Implementing data governance, policies, standards and solutions
    • Develop and implement short and long-term roadmaps for maturing the organization’s /department’s governance approach
    • Providing professional support to the operational teams regarding compliance and providing updates on ongoing activities and compliance initiatives 
    • Support implementation of cross functional tools and automated workflows 
    • Ability to influence process owners (e.g. FiCO, and other business functions) and provide guidance for the design and implementation of controls and technologies
    • Champion a process of continuous improvement through effective tools and organizational change management
    • Regional project and key user training responsibility for all Purchasing Processes, Methods, and Tools issues (e.g. Global Template rollout, Webasto Supplier Portal, Ariba (WeBuy), Webasto Risk Management System, 
       WIMS, PEP, Reporting Systems (e.g. SAP BW), purchasing document management, SharePoint and further applications.
    • Regional representative in international cross-functional Processes, Methods and tool Projects with active, self-consistent controlling and conduction of tasks and rollout activities (e.g. SAP, PLM, Ariba etc.) in alignment     
      with the Global Purchasing Processes, Methods, and Tools standards and strategy
    • Participating in ad-hoc compliance and governance related topics and supporting cross-functional workstreams
    • Support of central PMT team in creating and updating regional process definitions and documentation (WIMS, Purchasing Manual etc.) 
    • Key User function for  Purchasing systems
    • Authority to support all tasks to rollout and optimize the Webasto Global Template, including ERP, Ariba (WeBuy), SRM, the Purchasing Risk Management Solution etc. efficiently, in-time and in alignment with the central
      PMT team
    • Project related authority to perform PMT projects tasks independently
    • Active support of all tasks to achieve the operational and strategic targets of the global PMT team and Purchasing
    • Authority to escalate Processes, Methods, and Tools(project) issues to manager

 


Education & Experience:
    • Degree in business science or technical degree
    • Experience in auditing (internal or external) would be an advantage
    • Relevant professional experience desirable in the automotive industry
    • Distinctive experiences with IT / business systems and processes
    • Distinctive analytical, interdisciplinary customer and cost oriented thinking and acting
    • Strong relationship building and collaboration skills across all aspects of the organization while adhering to Webasto’s values
    • Safe handling of MS Office, ERP / data warehouse systems and other reporting tools
    • Demonstrate leadership abilities with team-oriented and acting
    • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required
    • Strong commitment for process improvement, self-motivation and high enthusiasm
    • Pre-defined milestones and gateways of Processes, Methods and Tool projects
    • Completion of defined tasks in required quality and in time
    • Purchasing internal performance measures and KPIs 
    • Fulfillment of individual target agreement as agreed with manager
