• Support manufacturing through time spent on the manufacturing floor gathering ideas and feedback from operators, supervisors, maintenance, Quality, etc.
• Conduct process improvement activities using lean principles and methodologies such as Kaizen, 5S, and value stream mapping
• Summarizes improvements and presents them to the leadership team when appropriate
• Assist in ensuring the reliability and accuracy of all MES applications implemented on manufacturing floor
• Writing documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions
• Preparation, analysis, and review of process relevant KPIs and identification of improvement potentials

This is what you bring to us:

• Currently enrolled in bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Process Engineering
• Good Knowledge of MS Office tools
• Understanding of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen.
• Good verbal and written communication skills. Needs to be able to communicate with all levels within the plant.
• Strong problem-solving skills and root cause analysis competency
• VISIO and Microsoft Project Experience is a plus
