IT SAP Project Manager

Webasto Roof Systems Inc. is currently recruiting for a IT SAP Project Manager located at their HQ in Auburn Hills, MI.

Job Responsibilities:

• Management of larger, international, cross-functional projects for the realization of process improvements and functional enhancements of the SAP-based "Webasto Global Template"
• Management of projects with the aim of rolling out the template to divisions within the agreed time and budget framework
• Coordinate central cross-departmental project teams, consisting of technical and functional experts from the various process areas (business departments and IT) in cooperation with the respective local or regional project managers
• Optimization of the process model for rollouts as well as IT projects and adaptation of tools and methods in coordination with the department management
• Conduct project overview meetings with appropriate colleagues and customers
• Maintain Knowledge Management and Lesson Learned systems

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Management Systems, Information Technology, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in the planning and management of SAP projects (rollout of templates and functional extensions) as well as experience in the functional management of interdisciplinary project teams
• Knowledge in Project Management as it relates to SAP projects/implementations 
• Knowledge of the processes of automotive suppliers, especially in the areas of logistics, production and quality management is preferred
• Knowledge of the modules SAP MM, SD, PP, WM, FICO as well as fit/gap analyses as well as data migration and test processes
• Willingness to travel up to 30% (depending on the project phase and project location)
• Analytical, interdisciplinary and customer-oriented thinking and acting
