Transport Coordinator EU

Our Business Area Roof is the global market leader for sunroofs, panoramic roofs, and convertible roofs, offering roof solutions with true added value. As roof specialists, we also provide customized and innovative solutions that meet the highest quality standards for electric mobility, the future of autonomous driving, and the use of solar energy.

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

  • Oversee daily transport logistics, including tracking and tracing shipment details, ensuring on-time delivery (OTD), and communicating transport details towards the plants.
  • This role requires coordinating with drivers, managing schedules, and resolving any issues that may arise during transport. You will also be expected to monitor and report on OTD, and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Manage and resolve any claims related to transport services. 
  • Handle the administration of transport invoices using a Transport Management System (TMS).  
  • Track and analyze various aspects of network performance, including on-time delivery, CO2 emissions, costs, and savings.
  • Support to maintain routes in the Transport Management System software.

 

This is what you bring to us:

  • Proficiency in English is required (high level). Knowledge of German is a plus.

  • Experience with a Transport Management System, preferably Alpega, is a plus.

  • Familiarity with SAP software is a plus.

  • Proficient in MS-Office tools, including Outlook, Excel (PowerBI is a plus.)

  • Experience with sea and air freight is a plus.​​​​​​​

  • Experience in working within the automotive industry
