Webasto is looking for:

Responsibilities:
 

  • Daily Operational Transport Execution: Oversee daily transport logistics, including tracking and tracing shipment details, ensuring on-time delivery (OTD), and communicating transport details towards the plants. This role requires coordinating with drivers, managing schedules, and resolving any issues that may arise during transport. You will also be expected to monitor and report on OTD, and take corrective actions when necessary. Additionally, you should have experience in managing exceptions such as special freights or spot transports
  • Claim Management: Manage and resolve any claims related to transport services. This includes investigating claims, coordinating with relevant parties, and ensuring a fair resolution.
  • System Driven Transport Invoice Administration: Handle the administration of transport invoices using a Transport Management System (TMS). This includes verifying invoice details, ensuring accurate billing, and resolving any discrepancies. You will also use the system to track and report on transport costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Tracking and Analysis of scope of responsibilities: Track and analyze various aspects of network performance, including on-time delivery, CO2 emissions, costs, and savings.
  • Maintenance of Routes in TMS Software: Support to maintain routes in the Transport Management System software.


Qualifications:
 

  • Experience in operative transport disposition: You have a proven track record in managing and coordinating transport operations.
  • Experience in operative transport planning: You have hands-on experience in planning and scheduling transport routes and deliveries.
  • Carrier experience: You have previously worked for a carrier and understand the dynamics of the transport industry. (not a must have)
  • Language skills: Proficiency in English is required (high level). Knowledge of German is a plus.
  • Knowledge in a TMS: Experience with a Transport Management System, preferably Alpega, is a plus.
  • Knowledge in SAP: Familiarity with SAP software is a plus.
  • MS-Office knowledge: You are proficient in MS-Office tools, including Outlook, Excel (PowerBI is a plus.)
  • Customs knowledge: Understanding of customs procedures is a plus.
  • Dangerous goods knowledge: Familiarity with handling dangerous goods, such as batteries and chemicals, is a plus.
  • Knowledge on Sea and Airfreight: Experience with sea and air freight is a plus.
  • Experience with Invoice Administration: You have experience with invoice administration, particularly in a system-driven environment.
  • Experience in working within the automotive industry
