Webasto is looking for: Series Purchasing Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for work associated with procurement of parts for development projects within the organization
- Defining acquisition BOM and cost estimation for acquisition projects
- RFI/RFQ process, feasibility confirmation, supplier cost monitor, parts and PPAP timing
- Sourcing process and decisions, cost and performance tracking of all tools and parts
- Procurement of samples, pre-series-/PPAP parts and packaging
- Purchase order/SAP management
- Capacity Planning
- Price Maintenance
- Tool Capacity, Serial Change and Spare Part Management
- Develops and executes supplier and category strategies on a mainly regional base
- Acts as a key contact for the suppliers and secures financial and quality targets
- Participates in the fulfillment of change processes for parts within the assigned category and supports in case of delivery problems in the plants
- Handles relevant purchasing processes (within defined category/program/etc.) in a less complex, mainly moderate/regional environment
- Develops, coordinates, and implements the purchasing strategy within a less complex, moderate/regional category/program
- Sets up and develops a strategic supplier base within defined category/program
- Coordinates and executes sourcing processes for category/program (supplier selection, RFQ, negotiation, source decision matrix, sourcing committee)
- Conducts contract negotiations with suppliers with rather moderate business volume
- Reviews consistently, supports quality and competitiveness of suppliers and develops corrective actions if needed
- Drives and supports change management within own area of resp.
- Plans the yearly reinvestments at suppliers for the area of resp.
- Maintains ideal interface to customer, development teams and plants
- Ensures frictionless delivery to plants in case of problems at the supplier
