Webasto is looking for: Quality Expert Plant QMS/IMDS/PMT

Resposibilities:

• Responsible with Quality Management System, according IATF 16949
• Creation of plant audit programme (internal/external audits)
• Plan and organize internal audits for system, process, product, line audits. Maintain records and verify the corrective actions implementation
• Summarize the audit results. Prepare Quality Cost report (e.g. Scrap cost, Claim cost)
• Defining and specifying activities, processes, and standards to fulfill the quality requirements for a service or manufactured material, component or product

• Auditing, monitoring and determining the quality of processes or outputs, either against defined internal and/or regulatory standards

• Reporting on process deviations and defects

• Performing internal audits according to plan and support 2nd/3rd party audits in the plant
• Tracking of the closing progress of audit deviations in the plant based on an action plan and (if necessary) escalation of delays to planned closure
• In cooperation with Plant Quality Manager ensure positive audit and certification status/activities with respect to IATF/Customer/VDA
• Alignment of plant activities with representatives of the GPO organization for new process roll outs or change management
• Ensuring quality related documentation is controlled and archived, incl. Information management in relevant Systems
• Preparation of customer audits and tracking of customer notifications in relevant system
• Preparation, execution and documentation of relevant training in cooperation with Plant HR (incl. process change management, auditor certification status etc.)
• Ensures that the products with the compulsory certification mark are produced in conformity with the standards according to which they have been certified 
• Establishing documented procedures to ensure that Compulsory certification marking is used appropriately
• Establishing documented procedures to ensure that the compulsory certification mark is not affixed on any non-conforming product that was not notified to the certification body
• Prepare Quality Cost Reports: QA department quality cost tracking, plant quality cost, vertical project quality cost
• Educate and update the Organization staff regarding quality standards and customer requirements: induction training for IATF 16949 and Webasto QMS, audit, training.
• Manage the relationship with the Audit/Certification bodies to ensure that compliance is assured: prepare, sustain, follow up actions as following IATF 16949 certification/re-certification/surveillance annual audit

• Technical university degree
• Professional in Quality System requirements IATF 16949
• Certified internal auditor according IATF 16949
• Certified internal auditor according ISO 14001
• At least 5 years automotive quality experience
• Experience in implementation of Quality Management System, participation in audits for certification and re-certification

Skills and qualifications:

• Working experience in the area of quality management or manufacturing, ideally automotive
• Working knowledge of IATF and VDA 6.3. audit requirements and practice and relevant certifications as auditor (preferred)
• Profound knowledge of quality methods & tools, e.g. FMEA, SPC, PPAP, APQA, 8D
• Good knowledge of the meaning of special characteristics; relevant standards, customer specific requirements and specifications
• Good knowledge of product liability law and data protection
• Working knowledge of MS-Office applications, SAP-QM skills and other relevant processes and documents
• Understanding of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles (e.g. WPS)
