Manufacturing Engineer

Webasto is looking for:

Responsibilities:
 Planning, ordering and ownership of production equipment
 Ensuring equipment is robust and repeatable, in terms of quality products
 Support an environment where continuous improvement is part of day to day activities
 Support and maintain the WPS philosophy
 Support multi-team Kaizen activities
 Ensure all lines are available to run by providing tools and techniques to relevant persons, e.g. Process Technicians
 Support and deliver the team approach to be involved in problem solving, control plans and FMEA’s
 Balance line with customer takt and ensure that the takt is maintained with a clear focus on Product Quality
 Support Project Ramp up and train TL and operators in terms of process and equipment
 Monitor SAP and ensure standard times, control plans, bill of materials and routings are correct
 Liaison with Engineering Change Control (Change Management).
 Standard operating procedures, control plans and FMEA’s
 Focus expertise in specialist area: Assembly / Rollo Blinds / Encapsulation

Requirements:
 Technical university degree (mandatory)
 Team Player
 Excellent communication skills
 Practical common sense approach
 Self-motivated
 Focused with attention to detail
 Drive and enthusiasm
 Organized
 Mechanical design driven
 Knowledge of Toyota methods
 Capable of handling multiple tasks
 Lean manufacturing tools
 Excellent pc skills
 Knowledge of English and / or German
 PFMEA knowledge
